Medal of Honor Warfighter Beta Tears Up Xbox Consoles Starting Tomorrow

The new Medal of Honor Warfighter game may be a few weeks away still but that doesn’t mean we can get a taste of what it has in store for us.  The new multiplayer beta will be hitting the Xbox marketplace tomorrow and will be available for everyone to try out.  The beta will give players access to all 12 of the Tier 1 operators in the game across 6 different classes.  The only game type that will be playable is the new “Hotspot” mode on the Sarajevo Stadium Map (seen above).

As for what “hotspot” has in store for us this is what Ben Jones, Senior Designer at Danger Close had to say about the game mode

The story of Warfighter revolves around the global hunt for PETN, and that mission carries over into Multiplayer with Hotspot. Five PETN caches are spread around the level, and the first team to successfully attack/defend three of those caches is deemed the winner.

Seems simple enough, right? But when this sequence is randomized and combined with Warfighter’s brilliant class system, Hotspot is transformed into a focused and hectic experience. Difficulty varies between each PETN cache, which means you can be frantically scrambling to defend a porous location or fighting uphill to the last man at any point in the match.

Sounds like a fun team based romp on what appears to be a rather small close quarters map.  Check out the new trailer below and we will see you in the Beta tomorrow!
