Black Ops II Accolades Trailer Released

With a little over two months left before the release of Black Ops II, Activision and Treyarch has sent over a new trailer highlighting their latest live stream from the Games Con event that also includes some positive feedback from industry leaders. There isn’t really any new game footage, but more or less just a video to build hype for the upcoming release.
I will admit that I am looking forward to Black Ops II coming out as I really enjoyed the first one. With Treyarch omitting last stand and death streaks altogether, I’m feeling pretty good about their version of the Call of Duty franchise. The fact that they listened to the community and put those players who actually “play” the game first is a breath of fresh air. From the MMS (millimeter scanner) scope that reveals those troublesome campers to the Ghost Perk that only works when you move around, it seems Treyarch takes their fans seriously when it comes to the multiplayer portion of the game, something Infinity Ward needs to keep an eye on!
Not having Marathon Pro return (infinite sprinting) is disappointing, but as explained from David Vondahaar, Treyarch’s Lead Developer in a recent interview with Dan Amrich, Activision’s Community Manager, they are working on different variations of the Extreme Conditioning perk, but more than likely, the ability to continuously sprint across the map is causing more problems that what it is worth in respect to the spawning system. Quite frankly, this is the BEST answer one could give and a response that I willfully can accept. I still want my martyrdom back, however, but that’s an argument for another day.
Whether you plan on buying this game or not, it’s good to have the gaming industry pay attention to its fans and try to accommodate most of the community. Does Black Ops meet your multiplayer checklist? Let us know in the comment section. Meanwhile, check out the new accolades trailer below. I also added the playlist that features over four hours of live stream footage from the Games Con Black Ops II event in Cologne, Germany.
