Call of Duty Black Ops II Prestige and Hardened Editions Revealed
Activision has just shown us what goodies we can expect to find in the upcoming COD Black Ops 2 Prestige Edition or “Care Package”. As you can see from the photos the contents come packed into a replica Care Package. Sadly the option to have it dropped from above onto your smoke signal doesn’t seem to be available. However the contents of the package should more than make up for it. Inside you will find a Remote-controlled UAV Flyer, exclusive in-game upgrades, exclusive Zombie Maps and the updated Nuketown 2025 map. As you can see there is a zombie edition of Nuketown included as well which was hinted at on the Treyarch facebook page. Its also worth noting that there is no mention of an Elite Subscription being included. Unlike last year’s hardened edition of Modern Warefare 3 which included a full year subscription to the service. Chances are if you want the prestige edition and another year of Elite membership you may have to be prepared to dish out some serious cash. While there is no price just yet expect it to be north of 100 dollars obviously.

The Hardened Edition as you can guess will include most of what the Prestige Edition does minus a few things. In it you will find Black Ops 2 in a nice Steelbook case, the official soundtrack by Jack Wall and Trent Reznor, a pair of Limited Edition Challenge Coins, the bonus in-game content of Nuketown 2025 and Nuketown Zombies and avatar items for your XBLA avatar. We have not seen any prices yet for either version but as more news becomes available we will be sure to let you know!
