More Iconic Missions Added to 007 Legends
007 Legends will be a little different than previous 007 games by creating a new story arc tying together five classic Bond movie missions, players will relive some of Bond’s greatest moments from some of his most iconic films. With Moonraker and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service already announced as playable sections of the game Acitvision has just announced that Die Another Day and License to Kill have both been added as well. While we don’t yet know what movie will be the fifth choice we do know that the upcoming Skyfall movie will also have its own mission available later as post launch DLC for the game.
“The method of picking which James Bond movies to include in 07 Legends was a deep and thoughtful process between Eurocom, Activision, EON and Danjaq,” said David G. Wilson, VP of Global Business Strategy, EON. “We took great care in selecting movies that helped define who Bond has become over the years, and ones that could be tied together in a compelling way to pay homage to 50 years of 007.”
While the movie based sections of the game span across the films many different actors keep in mind all roles will be handled by Daniel Craig and his likeness in the video game. Sorry Roger Moore fans! Check out some of the newly released concept art for the game to help you feel better though.

Here is a quick synopsis of what each of the movie based missons have in store for players when the game launches later in 2013. Just as with the other films each mission will focus on the movie’s most memorable parts.
In The Die Another Day movie-inspired mission, the quintessential secret agent is sent to rendezvous with Agent Jinx to investigate the connection between Gustav Graves – a diamond mogul funding the development of an international space weapon called Icarus – and a North Korean terrorist set on unifying his country once and for all. With Jinx’s help, Bond must chase down Graves, racing along ice while dueling against North Korean spies and Graves’ allies, all while dodging concentrated blasts of solar energy from the Icarus weapon. After confronting Graves on his high-flying jet, Bond must prevent triggering a war between North and South Korea and escape the stricken jet before it’s destroyed.
In the Licence to Kill movie-inspired mission, Bond enlists the help of U.S. Drug Enforcement Agent Pam Bouvier in order to avenge Felix Leiter and uncover a vast international drug operation headed by an evil Mexican drug lord with terrorist connections – Fran Sanchez. After detonating a massive explosion in Sanchez’s drug refinery, Bond will have to capture Sanchez before he escapes, ending in a brutal physical confrontation on-board a moving tanker truck. Will Bond be able to avenge his friend or will he be killed by Sanchez?

Check out the brand new trailer below to get a look at what each of these missions will look like. Yes I know its odd seeing Daniel Craig in these rolls but its a small price to pay to be able to play some of these missions most of which I have vivid memories of from my childhood.
