Design Your Own Transformer; Co-Op Escalation Mode Announced In New Trailer

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be released very soon, next month in fact. As such, High Moon and Activision have released a new trailer showcasing the multiplayer mode and its new features. One of these new features includes the ability to design and make your own Transformer. Gaining virtual money or credits, similar to Call of Duty’s Black Ops, a player can use this game currency to buy things to help make and transform your robot to your specifications. From color scheme to torso design, if you have enough credits and a knack for robot fashion, this new addition will entice even a Gobots fan.
Also mentioned in the trailer will be an addition of co-op Escalation mode. This mode, which is similar to Gears of War’s Horde Mode, will have waves and waves of Decepticons or Autobots attacking you and your online compadre. Your mission is to see how long and how many rounds you can last. In short, it’s Transformers’ version of zombie mode.
Regardless if you plan to buy the game for the campaign or the multiplayer aspect of the game, Fall of Cybertron is expecting to be a compelling sequel and takes the player further into the Transformer universe by revealing more about Cybertron than meets the eye.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be out on August 21, 2012 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
