Injustice Trailer Features Nightwing; Shows Off Fighting Style
Back when the Super Nintendo had the Mortal Kombat series, I couldn’t stop playing that game, especially as Subzero. Since then, however, the buttons and combinations have been updated as well as becoming more complex and difficult, for me. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t manage fighting games for the new consoles. This is a bit embarrassing here, but when my wife and I demoed the rebooted version of Mortal Kombat for the Xbox 360, she opened a huge can of whip ass on me and she hardly plays video games. Point is, I’m pretty freaking bad at fighting games.
That being said, NetherRealm, the company that brought you Mortal Kombat, has brought the DC universe to the fighting genre and the game looks amazing! As a Batman and DC fan in general, the news for this game is exciting and I am eager to try out my button mashing skills with Batman, Nightwing, and other DC fan favorites. Even though I suck at fighting games, I’m going to get this game for sure. I just don’t plan on playing it with my wife, but don’t tell her that!
There hasn’t been a release date announced, but from earlier press releases it’s looking like it may come out sometime next year (2013). Check out the intense and action packed trailer below.
