Saints Row Enter The Dominatrix Has Been Canceled

It is being reporting that due to recent changes in the leadership at THQ, the decision has been made that the “Enter The Dominatrix” stand alone expansion will no longer be coming out. Originally planned for Saints Row The Third,  it will now just be included as part of the next full retail release instead.  Originally announced as an April Fools joke many fans demanded that the DLC be made anyway and THQ agreed that it needed to be made.  However  the new THQ president Jason Rubin had this to say about the project

“When I looked at the Enter The Dominatrix expansion in production at Volition, I was blown away by the ideas and desire to expand the fiction of the franchise… I asked the team what it could achieve given more time, more resources, and a broader scope for the project. We all agreed we wanted to play that game. When it comes to Saints Row, it’s clear our fans want bigger, better, and even more over the top, and that’s why Enter The Dominatrix will now be incorporated into a vastly expanded, full-fledged sequel, scheduled for calendar 2013.”

It is unclear when the next Saints Row game will be released other than hopefully sometime in 2013.
