Are You Ready For The Darkness?
Can you see The Darkness coming? It’s coming fast. With a demo already out for the Xbox 360 and officially releasing on February 7, 2012, The Darkness II is poised to launch your first person shooting experience into a new realm of excitement. Continuing the storyline from the first game, The Darkness, Jackie continues his quest to avenge his girlfriend’s murder. In The Darkness II, however, a failed hit on Jackie’s life motivates him to harness the power of The Darkness once again, seeking out those who want him dead and exploring what drives The Darkness in the first place. With a compelling storyline and a fierce four-player co-op multiplayer option, The Darkness will embody you too, enticing you to play this game until you black out.
Not only does The Darkness feature an intense campaign, but, as mentioned above, it also has a four-player co-op mode known as “Vendettas”. This mode is available for players to explore new characters that use different weapons and have unique abilities. What are these weapons and peculiar attributes I speak of? On January 26, 2012, these questions and more will be answered.
Kona’s Korner Productions, in association with 2K Games, presents an event so exciting, not even the blackest shadow can obscure the light from this amazing announcement. On January 26, 2012 starting at 4 PM PST, LIVE from the 2K Games studios, 2K Games will be streaming game play and a question and answering session with the team of The Darkness II. Viewers will be able to enjoy a sneak peek of The Darkness II’s imaginative storyline and superb graphics, including the new quad-wielding powers of Jackie when he utilizes his Demon Arms and fires his two weapons simultaneously.
The Darkness fans will also be treated to an exclusive first look at LIVE game play of the PC version four-player co-op mode, “Vendettas”. Kona, himself, will play as one of the four players, Inugami, Shoshanna, J.P. DuMond, or Jimmy Wilson, against some of the game’s producers.
