Going Dark the New Black : SOPA SUCKS

Against SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) Kona’s Korner and it’s partners Radioactive Nerd will be joining the blackout scheduled for this Wednesday January 18th. Our services will go offline in protest of the proposed bill. Radioactive Nerd records on Monday nights, in addition to the blackout, they will not be producing a show this week.

Earlier this week Kona’s Korner also dropped and changed it’s previous site host Go Daddy, a supporter of SOPA. We urge you to do the same if finances allow and to join us and countless others as we go dark this Wednesday. If you do not have a website there are still other ways to band with us and make it clear you are against the SOPA bill.     Technically Godaddy.com reversed the stand on the SOPA bill at the end of December. But i feel they only did this because of the mad rush of people switching their accounts away from them. But either way they made a huge mistake that will take a huge hit on this years profits.

    So true Volks .. the mere thought of supporting that bill IMO makes you look extremely ignorant and therefore how can you be competent to RUN a business and best we find someone else who can. Thanks for the comment!
