Gears 3 Xbox 360 Limited Edition Announced
Coming this fall and for Gears of War fans, Microsoft announced that beginning September 20, 2011 retailers will begin selling the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Gears of War console bundle.
The bundle will have the Xbox 360 console with a 320GB hard drive and built-in Wi-Fi. The console will be decorated in the typical Gears décor with the signature red and black design with the Gears Omen symbol on the side of the case.
Also included will be two, that’s right, two specially made Xbox 360 controllers designed to match the console’s look and color scheme.
You can’t have a package like this without owning the actual game, right? No problem. The bundle also incorporates a standard copy of Gears of War 3 and a download key for bonus game content, like the Infected Omen Weapon Pack for example. Gamers will also receive the character Adam Fenix to play during multiplayer.
The weapon pack contains the Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Gransher, and Sawed-Off Shotgun.
If you want to buy just the controllers, you can do that too. Retailers will be selling the controllers seperate for $59.99 and the total Gears of War 3 Limited Edition package will be selling for $399.
